Yo mens and womens! Da Ferret is back! Here's the newest (and very exciting-est) skill: Minecrafter!
Saxon has finally released the Minecrafter skill to DIY. He commented that he wanted DIY to stay like DIY, and not to "disappear into a minecraft-feuled stooper of awesomeness". So DON'T stop everything and spend the rest of your life playing minecraft just because now there's a skill for it on DIY. I'm watching you, so be careful how much you play.
Anyway, aside from talking about how much of a creepy stalker I am, here's the description for the skill:
"Minecrafters build with virtual blocks. We take pride in various expertise: defeating monsters, making structures, mastering redstone logic, and what not. We work towards a common goal – crafting our dream world."
Doesn't that sound awesome? The challenges are better:
-Survive your first night. Pretty straightforward, post a screenshot of the shelter you used to survive your first night.
-Make art in Minecraft. Whether its pixel art, 3D sculptures, or bold expressions of timeless truths, its all possible in minecraft.
-Make Minecraft food. Unfortunately, you can't play Minecraft all the time. But don't worry, sometimes you can eat minecraft too!
-Create a redstone contraption. Using redstone, you can build not only with your hands, but also with electronics!
-Build an epic base. All Minecrafters outgrow their first shelter and inevitably move on to create their dream base.
-Defeat a boss. Minecraft has 2 bosses: Ender Dragon and Wither. They're insanely hard to defeat, but will reward you greatly.
Those are only some of the amazing challenges found in Minecrafter!
See you next time,
-Forte
