Hey History Buffs! A new skill has come out called Historian! YAY! If you're into history, and you want to make a history project, documentaries are a great way to start.
At my school, history fair is a mandatory part of the curriculum, and I like to make documentaries for fun sometimes; I have two history related projects on my portfolio already. Both are documentaries, one is on the Tuskegee Airmen and the other on Second City. Some good History Documentaries are Starnimus' Orangutan Documentary, and Imnotlauging's Political issue documentary. If you want to see an example of a simple documentary done by an kid, I would suggest those.
Here are some tips on making a Historical Documentary.
If your using a still pic, use a ken burns effect on it. Movement makes everything more interesting.
If your into older stuff, its going to be a bit harder to find artifacts. Old coins from the 1800s are always cool, and they are cheap too!
So yeah, those are my tips on how to be a true historian!
Have fun history buffs!
