Winter is finally here, along with every kids favorite part... The snow! When you have a snow day, it's a wonderful time, so here's some things to keep you busy on a snowy winters day!
1. Go outside and make a sledding course! If you have a hill in your yard, create ramps for your sled to fly off of, and pour water on a sledding path to make it icy and fast.
2. Make a snow fort! The easiest way to do it is to create a snowball, and roll it around so the snow on the ground will stick to it, until it gets fairly big. Then, carefully hollow it out until it is big enough for you to fit inside (this method only works with wet snow).
3. Have a snowball fight! This is especially fun with a snow fort so you can hide behind it, and create a base. Just round up some neighbors and siblings, and start it up.
4. Bake some cookies. It's nice to have the warm cookies on a snowy day, and it gives a nice feeling with snow falling outside and the scent of cookies baking.
So this snowfall, make sure you head on outside to enjoy the snow! It might not last long!
